How to get my ex back??

ok so lately ive been talking alot about my ex and crushing on him. i really want him back. i broke up with him 3 1/2 months ago by text. i was really upset but i couldnt handle a relationship aat the piont. but i know that he lkiked my for years before that and i secretly really liked him back. what can i do i was just informed he has a girlfriend now. im sad and depressed. I LOVE HIM ;)
