How do you even put in a weave or like whatever?

like i dont understand weaves aat all..like i see girls take them out,they say that they have "tracks" it looks like real hair,how do u even out it in? are extentions and full out weave the same thing? I herd u sew it in??? like what is this thing were dealing with????
